The Silver Peak series is also inspired from hiking along the Silhouette Trail of Killarney Provincial Park. Silver Peak is the highest peak of the La Choche Mountain range, standing at 539 metres. The Silhouette Trail to Silver Peak is a demanding hike up 330 metres of uninterrupted elevation through a maple and oak forest, until suddenly there is an opening to the sky. And there it is, contrasted against the clear blue sky is the first sight of the white quartzite rock face. From the summit, it appears you are on top of the world. Powerful winds across the barren quartzite formations and remarkable views of Georgian Bay spanning the horizon like a vast inland sea make this an unforgettable experience.
